The rocks in the garden are taken from the former house and hayrack (kozolec), as well as rocks taken from the surrounding nature. Beside the garden, which represents the main part of the garden, another important element is also the beds of tall perennial plants and various types of bush plants. The rock garden east of the house is planted with different perennial plants making it possible for the garden to stay in bloom from the early spring to autumn. 

The rock garden east of the house is full of different perennial plants, in bloom from the early spring till autumn, some of which are: snowdrops (Galanthus), jeglič (Primula), saffron (Crocus), various types of the onion genus (Allium), Iris, various phlox plants (Phlox), violets (Viola), dogtooth violets (Erythronium dens-canis), various grape hyacinths (Muscari), fritillaries (Fritillaria) and many others. The rock garden is in full bloom from mid March to the end of July. After a short summer break the autumn plants begin to bloom.

The rock garden on the west side of the house, containing rocks taken from the surrounding nature is planted primarily with smaller and low growing plants and some peculiarities. Among these we can find: Carduncellus mitissimus, Asperula sintenisii, the Triglav flower (Potentilla nitida), various Gentiana plants (Gentiana), the Edelweiss (Leontopodium alpinum), alpine snowbell (Soldanella alpina), Phyteuma), houseleeks (Sempervivum), Saxifraga and many others.
You can also find other plants in the beds without rocks: great masterwort (Astrantia), Iris barbata, dwarf day lillies (Hemerocallis), hostas (Hosta), hortensias (Hydrangea), hibiscus (Hibiscus), larkspur (Delphinium), leadwort (Ceratostigma), spider plants (Cleome), amaranth (Amaranthus), dahlias (Dahlia) , clary sage (Salvia sclarea), false goat's beard (Astilbe).

Apart from all the plants mentioned there are also some decorative bush planted in the garden, a hedge, various climbing plants: honeysuckle (Lonicera),Wisteria,vines (Clematis), trumpet vine (Campsis).

Under the balcony you can find a small collection of cacti.
Surrounding the garden there are also some fruit trees and berry plants: apples, pears, cherries, kiwi, the Asian pear or nashi, aronia (Aronia melanocarpa), capuli (Prunus salicifolia), currant, josta (Ribes nigrum x uva-crispa), tayberry (Rubus hybrid), blackberry, and the specialty – Chinese raspberry – Wineberry (Rubus phoenicolasius), Indian banana (Asimina triloba), Siberian blueberry (Lonicera kamtschatica ) and others.
