The House on the Hill is located in Idrijske Krnice, a picturesque village in the northern Primorska Region at approximately 1000 m above sea level. The village lies in the vicinity of the old miners’ town Idrija with a rich Unesco-protected cultural heritage (approximately 12 km away) and is surrounded by peaceful and beautiful nature.

The Bomas House is set on a former farmhouse. In the spirit of tradition, it is mainly built from natural and environmentally friendly materials. The house offers comfort, expresses genuine homeliness and warmth. It is made of Slovenian wood and each corner of the house has its own purpose. The heart of the house is its central room with a modern kitchen and a traditional farmhouse table. The bedroom is in the attic, the house also has two terraces, one of which offers a beautiful view of the Idrijca valley. The accommodation is surrounded by cultivated gardens, meadows and forest. Here you can experience a genuine contact with nature and the local environment, enjoy the tranquillity or activities in nature.

At the edge of the Upper Idrijca Landscape Park, next to a farmhouse, there is a campsite with up to twenty parking spaces for both small and large vehicles. A designated area is also available for setting up tents. The campsite includes well-maintained sanitary facilities with a dishwashing area and a laundry room. It is accessible to people with disabilities, with adapted sanitary facilities. On the farm, we are engaged in wood processing and breeding of wild game (deer and mouflons). Once a day, guests can observe the animals during feeding time. The campsite is an excellent starting point for walks, hikes, cycling, or simply disconnecting in nature. In the summer months, swimming and relaxing by the Idrijca River are also possible. A bus stop is located near the campsite, where you can board a seasonal weekend bus to the Lajšt swimming area.

The campervan stop is located next to the bus station, in the very centre of the town, within walking distance to all the main attractions of Idrija. There are 8 parking spaces for motorhomes with all the necessary facilities (electricity, water, sewage and faeces disposal). The parking is for short stops, parking is allowed for up to 3 days, with the parking fee of € 10 per day (valid for 24 h). Electricity and water charges are payable in addition.

In the middle of the beatutiful nature, located 10 minutes from the center of Idrija. Space where you can rent a personal glamping house for four people, set up a tent or park your motorhome. They also have a picnic area. The Marjetn home is also an ideal base for exploring the surrounding landmarks - hiking or biking.
