40th Idrija Lace Festival

You are cordially invited to one of the largest ethnological festivals in Slovenia!

The wish of the creators of professional and accompanying contents of the festival is that the 40th Idrija Lace Festival would give emphasis to the tradition of lacemaking in the wider Idrija region and pay tribute to all creators of Idrija lace. As this was not possible due to the given situation in 2021, the expert and administrative board of the Idrija Lace Festival unanimously decided not to hold the festival in 2021, and postpone it to the following year or wait until conditions allow the organisation of the Festival with the content that such a round anniversary deserves.
